this way or another, this was raised in the past (I think by me as well), but I wanted to add something.

When clicking on the Video in the Video Plugin (or for that matter on a picture or music file), I would prefer to see a sort of popup like with the recording screen.

The reason I bring this up again, is I thought it would be nice to also be able to get video info (such as file size, resolution, length, etc.). this "popup" screen could be a perfect place to put this info.
Plus (and this is the point I think I have raised before), it will be more consistent across the application, plus reduce the need to use the some-what awkward left-side menu.
