Question 1
I want to output a 16:9 on HDMI to a local Plasma and still have the standard 4:3 as well going to a modulator to drive other sets in the house.
Can this be done?

Question 2
Can I run a 16:9 output and still run a 4:3 MVP simultaneously?

I am not sure I understand what you want with question 1. You can not have GBPVR run multiple times on the same video card so this will probably not work.

Question 2 is possible.

I have a modulator connected to the TV out of my pc. This feeds all of the tvs in my house with GBPVR. If I buy a 16:9 TV and hook that up to the HDMI port, and run 16:9 on GBPVR, I'm guessing there is no way to drive the TV out into my modulator. I'm guessing I need to run a client or MVP and drive that into my modulator.

gbpvr can only run on one monitor at a time, and only 1 gbpvr per machine, [not counting the mvp server] so if you're running gb on the HDMI, then it can't be outputting anything to the other monitor unless you run in 'clone' mode, which would make both also be same aspect i believe...
tho gbpvr may just fill the screen on both if run fullscreen mode..[clone mode]
i believe fullscreen and windowed act differently as far as aspect is concerned, so try both...one should work i would think..Big Grin

the MVP and pc have separate aspect settings so that should be no problem at all...as well as clients..

I think that's the direction I'm going to go. I'll get another MVP and use it to drive the modulator input and the PVR can drive the 16:9. Otherwise it's another PC and that's going to take up too much space.
