Just installed 1.08 (XP/P3 1ghz/1gm RAM/3 MVPs). Nice, nice nice. From the MVPs, snappier response on the menus, and the default skin is clearer just about everywhere.

Here are some minor things I've noticed on my MVPs:

* Neither Skip nor Fast Forward / Rewind are working for Recordings or Videos.

* Search Guide is no longer available (?).

* Repeatedly hitting the Back button no longer takes you back to the root of shared directories. From the root directory of a share, Back returns you to the main menu (it used to take you back to the list of shared directories). To get back to the list of shares, you must navigate up to the [..], or return to the main menu and navigate to Video Library.

Great.

Hmm, skip should be working. If you reproduce it, then post the logs I'll take a look.

This is only partially finished, but should be usable. If you press the TV Guide button on your remote, it'll take you to the TV Guide screen. If you press it again it should popup the search guide.

Ok, I'll check this.

Here's what I did:

Set logging level to Debug in Config
Restarted
From an MVP, navigated to Video Library
Started playing a recording
Pressed FF 3 times, waited a few seconds, then RW 3 times (no response)
Pressed Stop (back to Video Library menu)
Stopped Recording service

.. then zipped config.xml and all the logs (except Tray)

My install is fresh: Removed 99.12 and deleted the directory before installing 1.08. No plugins installed.

Platform: Intel P4 900mhz / 512mb Ram / Windows XP
This animal is a server for 3 MVPs only, no monitor or local playback.

FF/RW definitely isnt working on the MVP, but skip should. If it doesnt, post the logs showing this and I'll take a look.

I can confirm no FF or RW on the MVP, skip is working fine though.
Also cannot schedule a recording on the MVP from a guide search result list, hitting ok on an item in the search result list does not respond at all to open it and schedule a show to record.
Also when confirm deletion is selected in config there is no confirm dialog on MVP.
And the comskip problem I mentioned in another post in the support area.
Love the new MVP server though, very solid, I refuse to switch back now!

Shoot, the real FF/RW is broken in mvpmc too. I always use short skip so here's one more thing to add to the list of test. I you hit it you have to hit Go - Ok - Stop

Note mvpmc's hardware FF still works, with the Go - FF The lower the bitrate the faster it goes but its still fun to watch.
