I purchased a regular RG6 cable and ran it down the wall and it improved the signal quality to around 22-25 by itself. I also checked the cable that was running down and it did seem to have some lose connectors. I now have a 1-2 splitter coming off of my antenea and the RG6 cable is going to my tuner and the other one is attached to the TV itself so there are no unattached splits. I will try a quad shielded cable next to see if I can get it to a usable level on the living room.
