Jeff,

Dont know if this has been reported but I am not able to switch between Recordings and DVDs (Ctrl+Y) on my MVP. It works fine on the PC but on the MVP I am prompted with the following: "Can not access DVD features" "You must specify at least one directory...." every time I press ctrl+Y.

DVD directory is configured as it is working just fine on my PC. The log is attached but I cannot see anything that would cause the problem.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Using 1.0.16 with the latest beta/test version of VA.

Yes, I just noticed this the other day too. Unfortunately I did all my testing of 1.0.16 on my laptop test machine and not on the MVP. Its been a long time since I've seen GBPVR behave differently on the MVP, but this time it seems to be the case. I have been working on getting ready to port to PVRX2 so I have been restructuring the code in preparation. I have fixed this in that version, but that version is also pretty rough around the edges and not ready for general release (it also is still not PVXx2 native). I may be in a position to get a release out for the bleeding edge people in a week or two.

I posted a new version last night that fixes this. Can you give it a try?

Jeff, I am back and have tested the latest Beta version from Wiki. Unfortunately, the problem remains and have actually escalated since I now have the problem on also on the PC. I can not get it to switch to DVD.

I have looked through the logs but cannot find anything. Since no one else seem to report this I am worried it is on my side. Any thoughts of what I should do?

I just posted an update yesterday. The plug-in should notify you automatically the next time you enter it that an update is available. Can you let me know if it does.

Jeff, the update notification works fine and have done so the past releases.

However, my problem remains but after som additional testing last night I think I have found the problem/bug?

Changing the setting in the config to "Start in list mode" rather than "Start in preview mode" makes the switch between DVD and Recordings work. I can also change to preview mode using ctrl+s after the setting change.

There is nothing in the logs as far as I can see.

Hmm. I always use start in list mode and in fact haven't tested start in preview mode for a long time so I don't think that is the problem. The DVD list is initialized second so it could be a timing thing. Have you tried waiting a few minutes and trying again to see if you can get into the DVD list? Do you have a lot of drives with files in your system? If some of them are missing or are read-only drives (or NAS servers) they take longer for the plug-in to initialize.

If you have the chance, can you try to start in preview mode to see if you can reproduce the problem. I need to know if the problem is entirely with me.

Waiting does not help, setting to "initial start with preview mode" and to "start in DVD mode" takes me directly to recordings and as soon as i try to switch to DVDs i get an information to define DVD directory.

No, simple setup with one internal HD defined as DVD archive (i.e., D:\My Videos\"genre directories").

Thanks for your effort to help,
