I usually have the Recording Status tray icon loaded with the window visible showing the status of my 4 tuners.
What I think would be very useful, would be an additional row added that showed the status of the Recording Service itself.
I missed a couple of recordings last night because for some reason, the Recording Service shut itself down but there's nothing on any of the GUI's to show the status of the service.
Sometimes I have the SlimGBPVR application running which will autorestart the service but that wasn't running either yesterday and a visual would have been helpful.
