can the tv out do a widescreen resolution? or just 640x480, 800x600 ?

and did you mean K7NCR18GM not K7CNR18GM ?
i did a search on pricespy K7CNR18GM  wasnt found, did a search on google and it came back "did you mean K7NCR18GM?" and that was found on pricespy which may have tvout, im getting conflicting info on that.

anyone know of a motherboard (either for amd or intel) with onboard tv out?

I Don't know, 1.  Haven't got to trying the TV Out yet (maybe tonight) 2.  I don't have a widescreen TV....
I think it only does 640x480 and 800x600, but I'm not worried about widescreen support as I've got an X-Card...  I just want TV out so I can see what is going on on the "console".

Whoops, I mistyped the Model number.  Yes, I meant the K7NCR18GM.

I'm currently having a bit of fun with the"overclock" features on the mobo.  I'm trying to underclock the CPU by reducing the multiplier, but the system just freezes before POST If I do that...  I'm having to stick with a reduce FSB speed to underclock for the moment

And to "convince" GBPVR and a WinFast PVR2000 to play nicely.  Just got to get the tuner going...
