Hi all,
I am a total newbie to the concept of the MVP system but I would like an answer to the following question....
My Media Center PC runs Vista Home Premium, with 2 Hauppauge DVB-T USB receivers. Currently, I use MCE to watch and record digital TV but I would like to put a couple of MVP's around the house to extend my viewing pleasure.
If I were to buy a couple of MVP's and install GB-PVR, would I be right in thinking that I would only be able to watch the live TV channels that the 2 tuners were set to? In simpler terms, can I watch 2 different channels on the 2 MVP's and still watch another channel on GB-PVR? I guess the same goes for when the Media Center is recording 1 or 2 channels and I want to watch something else on the MVP's? My head says "no" but I just want to check before I invest the time and money in this system, rather than several independent Freeview boxes.
