Apparent Lockup seems to be missing Resume Dialog

I've noticed a couple times in the past, PVRX2 seemed to lockup when trying to view a movie. I recently had a movie that was consistently locking up as it just started to play.

After further investigation (looking at the log), it appears that the Resume Dialog should have been showing, but it was not, the screen simply appeared to be locked on the movie image.

Once I saw that in the log, I returned to the locked show, simply it tab, then enter, the movie then started playing.

Now that I've got it past that point, it does not fail anymore. It looks like it only occurs when the movie was stopped right at the begining, within the 1st couple seconds.

I believe it was right about at this point where the show locked up.

This is not the first time I've seen this behavior, so I thought I pass it along incase anyone else has experienced this.

Does this happen for you every time you try to play a video that would show a resume prompt? I've just now had a good try at reproducing this problem, but it seems to be functioning well for me.

It's possible this is something I've fixed post 1.0.16 though, as I have done a couple of minor changes in that code.

No, does not happen every time. I think it was only happening when I escaped out of the movie almost immediately after it started playing. Then when playing again, approx 2-3 seconds would play, then it would stop. I believe this is where the "Resume" dialog should have been showing, but it did not appear.

Once I hit tab, then enter, it would start playing. If I let it play awhile before stopping again, the dialog would appear on restart as it should. There must be some weird combiniation of timing and/or keystrokes to cause this to happen....

I did find one thing that could account for this, relating to the OSD trying to be updated before the playback had really started. This has been fixed for the next release.

Ok, once I see the next release, I'll try and reproduce the problem. Thanks for looking into it...
