# of channels on one screen of guide

I really thought I had seen this somewhere in the forums, but I can't find it now with much searching. Is there a way to change the number of channels listed on one screen of the TV Guide on the MVP? I have a fairly small TV (19") and the default (7, at least on my system) makes the text almost too small to read. Of course, this setting would also have to increase the font size of the listings displayed to help. Any suggestions?

You're able to create your own skin which is designed to use a larger font, show larger but fewer TV Guide channels. All these settings are available in the skin.xml files.

Unfortunately, there is no magic setting were you change a number and it automatically adjust all these things.

I know some other users were working on there own skins that do this type of thing, and some one might be able to send you one they've already adjusted.

Thanks for the pointer! I was able to edit the skin.xml files in for TV Guide, Search, Recordings, etc. and it is now MUCH easier to read the screen. Thanks, again!

Thanks for the tip, after looking in those xml files, it's just basic x & y pts to plot where the objects are and how big or small they will be.

I now have most things the way I want them.
