I've just got myself a MediaMVP and am amazed at how well it works with GB-PVR, nice work Sub!

One little problem though, video files with an apostrophe in the filename crash the MVP version (but not the straight one). It fails with a .NET Framework error. This should be easy to replicate but if not, let me know and I'll check it again for more details.

I'm using the latest beta version of the MVP software/drivers from the web site.

I got my MVP today and I'm dying to get GBPVR set up on it, but I need to get myself a crossover cable.

Is GBPVR really easy to setup on the MVP?

I know I'll get there, but could you give me a give synopsis of how you get it going.

Cheers

Sorry SimonP, I missed your post. I'll fix the apostrophe for the next release.

Hi Scottola. Yes, GB-PVR is pretty easy to setup. It doesn't talk about MVP specific steps, but http://www.gbpvr.com/quickstart.htm gives a brief overview of first time set up. When you're setting it up, if you encounter any problems or have any questions, just post them and I'll answer.

Thanks Sub, I hadn't realised just how many of my video files used apostrophes and it has become quite a problem.

Also, is there anything you can do about the problem of playing NTSC video files on the PAL based MVP? I realise it's a "feature" of the MVP and I'll harrass Hauppauge about it but can anything be done in GBPVR to get over the sizing issue?
