O.K - Now, Lets try these Wiki Directions on one of my Systems
Tonight, I followed the procedure in this document to update my main HTPC system to GBPVR 1.1.5.
I am actually writing this post on my PC, while watching a recorded GBPVR playback on the connected TV.

O.K - Now, Lets try these Wiki Directions on one of my Systems
Tonight, I followed the procedure in this document to update my main HTPC system to GBPVR 1.1.5.
- I did all of the backups
- I did not have to use any of the backups
- All of my recordings and other GBPVR settings were preserved
- My Firefly Remote has stopped working
- This is probably due to Windows. Windows has almost certainly assigned a new Program Identifier to GBPVR or PVRX2.
- This is standard Widows crap problem. I am not sure if the is any long term solution
- It is irritating but generally not hard to resolve.
- There is a Firefly Remote Profile Instruction in the Wiki
- This XML profile is likely now not compatible with the new release.
- I will will try work out a fix/upgrade for this Firefly Remote XML profile to support the latest GBPVR release
- I will then update this Wiki section to fix the problem.
- May take a couple of days, (depending on how much I miss the Skip function of the Firefly Remote)
I am actually writing this post on my PC, while watching a recorded GBPVR playback on the connected TV.
