Reuse channel scans

It would be a real time saver if it was possible to reuse channel scans as it is a real bugger having to do a channel scan for every tuner in the system. Takes a cery long time.

Should certainly be the case wth identical tuners.

That would assume that all the tuners were functioning correctly and were receiving a high enough quality signal - not always the case (see this problem I recently had with a Nova-T 500). It might save time, but once your system settles down, you don't really need to re-scan very often. If you find you do have to re-scan a lot, it might be worth while asking the forum about it.

The broadcasters shuffle things around too often as well requiring re-scans.

If I have to rescan, I just do it for my first DVB-T tuner then copy the scan cache file three times and rename the copies to match my other tuners.

I still have to go back in to Config to map the changes that are needed but its a lot quicker than scanning four times.
