My first CD burner used the paralell port and was very efficient at making coasters. Remember the dreaded "Buffer Overflow" errors? Making coasters was particularly painful when CD's cost over a dollar a piece - lol.

I remember those days. I don't miss them at all. LG also has a dual format drive that burns BluRay but I opted not to go for that one. It's about $100 more and with the cost of hard drive space, I'd prefer to buy another drive before paying for the blank disks. In all the years I've owned a DVD recording drive, I don't think I've burned 5 DVDs (data or video).
