There seem to be a lot of people who have hibernation problems, where the computer will not wake, but my computer will not go back into hibernate after recordings. this happened only in the last few days. It will wake from hibernate, just won't go back. Out of the following things I have done please please can someone advise me or know which is most likely in their experience:
-SearchWiz2X latest update.
-Wiz Utilities- Show Image Graber, Episode tweaker
-Change to off air broadcast epg in config.
-gbepg patch for Epg update files left over.
-MS Fix: Video Mixer Renderer (VMR) incorrectly scales anamorphic content

Or any other overall fix are welcome as suggestions.
Hibernation settings are all unchanged and set for 20 mins. Any way I can check for any bugs in my computer that is keeping processor active?

Ok I done a system restore and fortunately i set things straight. As I added back searchwizX2 I can safely say it wasn't that. My hunch is that it was the MS patch. I applied more out of curiosity than need. But I will now live by the saying if it aint broke don't fix it. Iprobably wont learn much but it will save me a lot of time to do other things. The moral of this pos is 'don' mess up you system restore'!

Spoke too soon! I thought I cured the problem by restoring my computer to an earlier date. My computer will hibernate normally after the set time. However after a recording it will just stay awake again. Something in post processing maybe ? It bugs me to no ends seeing the darn thing with power lights on every morning. Surely this is a common problem with a simple solution? Anyone....
