sub, the Enhancer is working pretty good.

While it processes a xmltv file, it grabs a list of item that are status 4 in the Recording Schedule. Then it downloads specific Season Episode information, and adds that information to the sub-title tag just before it gets written to the new xmltv file.

I Update EPG in GB-PVR and all is good. I can see the new ep info.

But I can't update any recording that are marked to be recorded (season recording)

Example: Boston Legal * - Mad About You ---- playing at 8 and 11 on channels 18 and 5 respectively.

If I choose the channel 18, at 8pm showing, then I can't update the EPG to modify the sub_title of that show. The other showing, Channel 5 at 11pm gets updated just fine...

I think that the Programme Record for that showing is not getting updated because it's marked as to be recorded...

Is this by design? Is there a way to work around this, or programmticall update other records in the database?

This is by design (not idea, but by design). One-off recordings, or the first recording in a season recording are never removed from the database, so wont reflect later changes made to these programmes in the EPG source.

So I guess after the EPG update, I could sql force the sub-title to change...
