i'm running gbpvr 1.1.5 (pvrx2) and cannot get ml2 (6.7beta) to be recognized. it just doesn't show up in the plugins tab of the configuration utility. i unzipped it into the default gbpvr directory(... \gbpvr\MusicLibrary2-BETA) and do have .net2 installed. this should be easy, but it's proving to be more stubborn than any issue i've had with and was able to overcome with gbpvr.

i've stopped the recording service, unzipped ML2-beta, and then run the configuration utility. ml2 never shows up in the plugins tab--nor in any of the log files.

thoughts?

side note: although i am running pvrx2 and don't need ML2panel.dll, ML2panel.dll is nowhere to be found.

tired, brain dead, and greatful in advance....

This mightbe your problem if this is where it's loaded: .. \gbpvr\MusicLibrary2-BETA)

Should be in gbpvr\plugins\MusicLibrary2

But as javawiz said, please post logs to confirm.

after posting my problem, i couldn't sleep and came back down to do what i thought would work, since it worked when i had issues with the media mvp not connecting consistently. i uninstalled gvpvr (saved the config file first), edited the window's registry to remove all instances of the gbpvr software, rebooted, re-installed gbpvr and the various plugins/skins which i had been using. then the moment of truth: i installed ml2. it worked!

btw, it was a typo on my part--i did, in fact, have it in the plugins directory and that's why i was so puzzled/frustrated.

thanks again,
greg
