Webcam for CCTV

Hello,

Does anyone know of any freeware solutions to using a webcam as a CCTV camera.

I'd be interested in having it capture 1 frame every (say) 5 seconds, and record video on motion detection.

I think YawCam does all of that.

My El Cheapo Creative web cam came with "Web Cam Center" software that does all you're asking for. Perhaps it's available as a download from their website?

In early days of my business we used SurveillizCam. I don't know about link rules for this site being new, but the Pro version in which I have allows more than one cam. Also works for RCA/AV input cable feeds or USB cams etc.

Try it bud it's by NovoSun. It's really good when you link it into Remote Desktop Applications and a good graphics+TV card, can watch the staff & office from home!
