sleep function??

the sound system has sleep
could there be a way to choose something like "go to standby after watching this recording"??

Why not just set the computer to sleep after xx minutes. It will sleep a few minutes after you've finished watching.

because it wont go to standby while PXRX2 is running.

Does it work if you select "Hibernate" from the "System" menu?

To have it appear in the main menu you can do the following:

In the Config -> "Plugins" tab, add a custom task and point the executable to "c:\windows\system32\shutdown.exe" and set the argument "/h". Set the button name to "Sleep" (or whatever you want) and enter a description.

You will then need to close the config, reopen it and then move your new command above "Exit" in the plugin menu. Close config again and open pvrx2

it will standby fine with the system button.
I also have a remote button set to go to standby.
but the windows power managment will not automatically standby after a couple mins while PVRX2 is running.

I just want to be able to fall asleep to a show and have everything shut down when it is over.

the shutdown plugin comes with a sleep timer (see wiki).

unfortunately i still haven't had the time to rewrite it to make use of the new skin features, so you will have the old blue skin inside the menu.
