Hi,

I recently did a re-install of my machine, and started with a clean 1.1.15 gbpvr. When I start my mvp (with the green button), emulation mode kicks in nicely, but then the screen hangs on 'Starting Application'. In the windows eventlog, I find this error:

EventType clr20r3, P1 pvrx2.exe, P2 1.0.0.0, P3 1e, P4 gbpvrpublic, P5 1.0.2869.10147, P6 47333b77, P7 338, P8 e, P9 system.nullreferenceexception, P10 NIL.

Then I power off/on with the green button, and the PVRX2 starts up nicely. Sometimes PVRX2 starts up directly, but very often, I have to try twice.

Any idea how I could fix this?

Sorry I can't really help. I see a crash or a similar situation on the Starting Application screen where the screen updates arrive but the screen doesn't change every 50 starts or so, but since the green button solves it is near the bottom of the things I am looking into.

You could try simplifying the startup to see if cutting out plugins, using the blue skin, or turning down the log level, helps pinpoint a problem. The follow setting helps the load time which might be part of the problem but with the limits on the server that sub talks about.

ok, I understand this is not top priority since there is an easy workaround. I will try your suggestions to solve it. But why it really bugs me is the fact that before the reinstall it did work perfectly. Unfortunately this is not the only thing that started bugging me after my reinstall. Standby issues...sigh.
