system does not support vmr9

I just downloaded gbpvr for my htpc and I get this error when I try to start it. "system does not support vmr9. please try different renderer."

I don't know what that means. if someone can help me out I would really apreciate it.

It typically means your video card is not good enough to run GB-PVR. What videocard do you have?

I have an EVGA gpu motherboard that contains a NVIDIA nForce MCP and integrated GeForce graphics. I figured out that I didn't have all of the drivers for the graphics properly installed. when I did this gbpvr booted up fine. However, after this the picture on my desktop became choppy and expanded beyond the realm of my TV screen. I have a feeling that my version of windows XP is not fully compatable with my graphics card. Does this sound like a posibility?

.... Oh yea, and I tried medssing with the resolution and it doesn't help.
