login user name or password incorrect but its correct

if i login from my lan my user name and password work fine, when i try to login with mobil phone using same user name and pass it says invalid username or password what might be causing this ? or how can i find out?

EWA uses a JAva Script encryption routine to pass the credentials back to the server....my guess is your mobile is not supporting the Java Script.

What mobile device are you using?

Any other mobile user out there have this same issue?

have you tried accessing from a computer outside your lan on a computer
you may need to forward the port or setup virtual server

although then i guess you wouldnt even be able to acces the web page

i know on mine i have to have 2 seperate links depending on if i have it through the lan or from website
my mobile windows5 works fine apart from the fact telecom NZ are a ripoff and it costs me $1 everytime i add a recording

i have the same issue with my phones opera mobile, but opera mini works fine so i use that for EWA...

i played around a little with it and loged in to ewa from lan and put user name in as autologin and emptied the autologin range and was able to get to the guide but depending what i do i keep getting kicked to login screen and then get invalid username or password again i cant pinpoint when, why or what is making it happen
