Blue Button

If I press the Blue button qhile watching a recorded tv show or a video a little something pops up at the bottom of the screen with the details of what I'm currently watching.

I remember this was working while watching LIVE TV as well, but it stopped some time ago. Now it does something else, but can't tell what, because if I press it all other buttons stop to respond. I have to quit watching TV and start again...

What does the blue button do in Live TV and how can I pop-up the current show info in Live TV?

btw, this is what I have in my irremote.ini:

If you press Ctrl-B on your keyboard you should see the current show info in live tv. Do you get this if you use the keyboard?

It works perfectly from the keyboard.

I'm not really sure what to suggest. You could try setting irremote.ini to send Ctrl-B instead of the message.

check your key mappings and make sure they're correct in there...
should be ^B for LIVETV_OSD in the mappings in LiveTVPreviewPlayer.xml etc....
[check LiveTVTimeshiftPlayer.xml also]

I have the same problem too. It only appears to be in Live TV mode though. I've checked my mappings in both KeyMappings and irremote.ini and they both have ^B or {ctrl}B. Keyboard function of the OSD works fine though.
