Some Feedbacks on the PCH

Hi Martin and Sub,

here is more feedbacks about gbpvr on PCH (last time was on the NMT Forums)

My GBPVR-MVPMCX2 is up to date (29-03-2008).

The good news :
- The music is working perfectly (no more problem with the play all function).
- The net radio is working too (don't know what happen last time).
- The weather plugin is ok.
- TV Guide is ok

The bad news :
1) Live TV is not functionnal, going back to the GBPVR Menu. (It's working on the PC)
2) Some video are not playing, going back to the GBPVR Menu. (It's working directly on the PCH).
3) Some video have no sound. (It's working directly on the PCH).
4) Some video lost and get back the TV synchro every synchro :eek:. (It's working directly on the PCH).

Here is the logs files (debug level) where the 4 problems have been reproduced sequentially.

(Problem 2 : filename is l'invite.avi, problem 3 : filename is Cabaret Paradis, problem 4 : filename is Dany Boon - Waika)

Bonjour. I confirmed that you are using the DVR-MS mux which the PCH doesn't support, so live and recorded digital tv won't work. You will have to select another mux on the misc2 tab of the config program. I prefer the TS mux.

Regarding the files without samples I can't really help. Did you try hitting the audio button on the PCH to select another track? Really GB-PVR is out of the picture here. If you can give a Mediainfo or AVInaptic capture of the file info that would help.

Actually the problem with l'invite is a bug in mvpmcx2. I choose the wrong URL encoding of the apostrophe It should be %27 and I used the accent grave %60. I will have a fix out for that today.

Thanks for the answers.

I will look further (understand I will make more tests ) for my two remaining problems (no audio, lost video sync)

GBPVR and mvpmcx2 are the perfect companions for the PCH. Thanks for you works (sub too !).
