I did some searching and found this site but it doesn't seem to have any cinema codes http://www.cinemaclock.com/ont/Ottawa-my...atres.html

I found this listing for Atlantic Canada (4 our out of 10 provinces) http://public.aliant.net/Section.jsp?sec...anguage=en but it doesn't include my area or any of the provinces with large populations.

Here is another one http://www.tribute.ca/by_city.asp I can select individual theatres but it doesn't work much like former zap2it or fandango

Next I found http://www.canadamovies.ca/

I didn't get this one to work but apparently there is a Yahoo widget that provides Canadian movie listings. http://widgets.yahoo.com/widgets/movie-times There is also a page that has listings by postal codes which may be better http://ca.movies.yahoo.com/showtimes/sho...c2n3&r=sim

Let me know if I can be any more help. If you need a sample postal code to try something out, mine is k1c2n3 (with or without a space after the c depending on the program),

Thanks for the links, just the kind of "local knowledge" I need. I'm going to spend some time tomorrow having another look at Zap2It but if I have no joy with scraping the new site layout the next option is to look elsewhere.

Can someone in the US/Canada try the attached sources.xml with the latest plugin version (6.4) from the wiki. Just copy the file over the top of the one in ...\gbpvr\Plugins\InternationalCinemaListings\

What do the showtimes look like format wise? I think it may doing something weird because I'm connecting from the UK.

I have tried the updater 3 times but each time, I get the no message found. Of the theatres in the source code, I can see the theatre info (address and tele number) for all but aacis (I think this is the code for Rainbow theatres - a chain that is not available in the US and has never been accessible from Fandango- it is the reason that I formerly preferred zap2it). I tried to confirm with Fandango and I noticed that to access "my favourite theatres", I need to sign in. From the main page, I can enter my postal code but at no point do I get access to the theatre codes. These are the fandango codes that worked before the big change and seem to still work now.

Possible piece of the puzzle. From the fandango site, I noticed that the page for aaneh is written "http://www.fandango.com/silvercitygloucester_aaneh/theaterpage" so I expanded aaneh to silvercitygloucester_aaneh and refreshed once again. However still no films listed and the basic tele and address info for silver city was missing (once I exited and restarted gbpvr). I will try again tomorrow night.

Thank you for looking into this. I may not go to the theatres a lot, but I really like this plugin.

Hmm, note that I've only updated the zap2it source and you may have to update your cinema IDs. Example url: http://movies.zap2it.com/movies/mvtheate...theaterId=7159

Tried new sources for Zap2it, Canadian Listing:

Attached are xml and log file.

The updater found the Cinema and correctly loaded all of the movie titles and showtimes. As you said, showtimes look a little weird. (Screen Shot Attached)

No other information came in (Synopsis, Info, Cast).

Also, the listing 'by film' shows nothing.

To be expected, that part hasn't been updated for the new site layout yet.
