What is the correct use of the grabber if you want to automate it? Example bat file? Does it go on postprocess or updateepg?

I've been running it manually, but this is probably inefficient.

You can pretty much do it either way.

If you run with UpdateEPG.bat, you will attempt to retrieve images for ALL entries in the EPG. The thumbnails will be stored in gbpvr/media/art. If you have it create PlaceHolders, it will create a small .jpg for EVERY entry it does not find an image for (could be several thousand depending on your EPG).

Ex:
ShowImageGrabberB /CreatePlaceHolders:true /ForcePlaceHolderRefresh:14
or without placeholders
ShowImageGrabberB /CreatePlaceHolders:false

If you run with PostProcessing.bat, you could pass the filename that you've just recorded. In this case, you are only savings images for the entries you have recorded onto your hard-drive.

Ex:
ShowImageGrabberB /File:"%~f1"

If there is an already image in the media/art dir for that show, how does SIG handle this? I ask as I currently use ProgramImageTool.exe /File %1 but sometimes it doesn't get the show, so I'd like to ise SIG o find ones that PIT doesn't. IF they are there however, I'd like to keep them.

If there is already an image there AND it is NOT a placeholder image, it will attempt to retrieve it.

If there is already an image there AND it IS a placeholder AND the placeholder threshold is passed, it will attempt to re-retrieve the image.
