When I select a skin and then go customize it (pressing play), it restarts pvrx2 and says applying skin, but then I get a pvrx2 error and get dumped to desktop.

I tried changing the task icons in the advanced edit menu, but no matter what I choose, it still set to mce (i think it's number 4 or 5) even though it says it's set to another one.

I would post a log, but I don't know which one to post.

Edit: This on my server, not client. Client works very well. FYI, the server started off as version 1.1.5 but now is 1.2.9

I'll look at reproducing the problem and see what I get.

Which one are you trying to select? I didn't have that problem so maybe it is a certain one?

Avance, and changed to the 8th task icon set. I don't think you'll be able to reproduce it..it works OK on my client, but the server is not working.

By the way, when installing CS there are two sets on the wiki in the community skin section: first download is like a 4mb download (Download:Community.zip) and the second is in the next section called companion skin modifying (SkinPlugin 3.1.3 - Primary updated 2008-Mar-23) and is like 26mb.

What is the order of install? I think I messed something up when installing these (maybe out of order)

Fatman_do- I reinstalled those two programs and things are much better. I'm able to switch skins around again and modify them as well. Something must have been corrupted during the first install.

However, when I apply skins and it restarts pvrx2, pvrx2 still crashes and doesn't come back..I have to manually restart. I'm not sure what logs to send, but I may just leave it alone since I won't be frequently shifting skins.

Good enough then, I sometimes get that on occasion. I have an update to release today that fixes another bug...

More on that later.
