Hi McBain

I have been playing about with the RSS reader feeds, and now find it invaluable, especially if i combine it with Yahoo Pipes to customise my feeds. Along with various news feeds tailored to specific things or combined from a number of other feeds, it allows me to find up to date info on shows available on Bittorrent.
I have looked at creating plugins, but im at the beginning of a steep learning curve and it will be a long time before im able to really achieve anything.

One thing i was hoping to do was to utilise the link within the feed. Perhaps adapt it to have a 'download' button that would download the file to specified directory to be picked up by uTorrent.
It could also be used to allow people connecting directly from PC to a HDTV to view the related webpage to view the full story or link.

I dont know how you would differenciate between the two, but is it feasable and is it something you would consider worth adding?

Having a "view page" button is something I would like to add for the next release. Download could also be an option. I'm working on new (secret) plugin at the moment, but after that an RSS Reader plugin update may be on the cards.

Thanks!

Give us a clue though about the new plugin, it would be cruel to keep us guessing now you have let the cat out of the bag? Big Grin

My aging eyes would appreciate it if you could add a few more levels of zoom for image feeds, like comic strips. Thanks.
