International Cinema Listings plugin version 6.5

Version 6.5 change log:

• Fixed problems with the fandango.com (USA & Canada) source due to a website change.
  
• Fixed problems with the zap2it.com (USA & Canada) source due to a website change (still some formatting issues).
  

note:fandango.com seems to have changed the format of the cinema IDs, be sure to check you're using the correct ID by going to the site and searching for your local cinema(s).

Thank you so much for getting the zap2it and fandango sites working again. For those who want access to movie details and synopsis, try entering a major US theatre as well. To the extent that the movies overlap and you have selected "use imbd info instead" from the config file, you will get all or substantially all of the info you need under your selected theatres.

Hi McBainUK,

Assume I'm doing something wrong, attempting to use for NZ - skycitycinemas, have set the CinimaID to QG (Queensgate) however dont get anything.

Attempted to manually see what gets scraped but.. cant see anything

I will see if I can update the scraper for the next release of the plugin (later this week). With all the films and times on one page it is harder to scrape. Do you know of any NZ sites that have good showtimes (preferably for more than one cinema chain)?

fifth, cinema listings does not work. it instructs you to go to the website and get a 5 digit code, after searching for your local cinema. well after searching for my local cinema no 5 digit code is to be found. this is frustrating as seeing i would suggest having it search through area code and showing various cinemas with different showing times as opposed to just one. but still even finding a 5 character string in the html browser, it still did not load correctly using fandango's site. so no cinema sites for me

Firstly, check you have the latest version of the plugin (currently 6.5). The easiest way to do this it to use Windows Explorer to find the file "\GBPVR\Plugins\InternationalCinemaListings\InternationalCinemaListingsPlugIn2.dll" and look at it's properties.

Regarding the cinema IDs: Looking up your location and zipcode I got to this page on the fandango site which lists all the cinemas in the area. I suspect you're trying to use 61820 but what the plugin needs is the individual cinema IDs. Clicking on the top result takes you to this page. The cinema ID you need to enter in the plugin in this case is aajqp. Do the same for the other cinemas in your area (separate each ID with a comma).
