Javawiz, are you able to investigate the loading of thumbnails from somewhere like dvdempire.com (or amazon for that matter).

DVDempire seems to have some fairly large (500 x ??) images, where imdb seems to be really small. I'm guessing it's a screen scrape though.

I have not had time to add DVDempire to the list of scraping sites, but I may get around to it (I'll bump it up on my TODO list).

I like your idea of implementing some type of scripting language so that users (who have some programming experience), could create their own scripts to download movie info as well as thumbnails. I've been giving that some thought and hope to add this in a future release as well.

Great, wasn't meaning to give pressure.

Wonder if, for the scripting idea, if its worth contacting the ANT guy and using his scripting language, save you developing your own, and means you've got a couple of hundred ready made scripts....

Not a bad idea. It looks to be Pascal or Delphi, I was considering developing a .net supported language (ie VB and CSharp), but if he was willing to share, and I could integrate easily, that might be a plus.
