Hi!

Thanx for a wonderful plugin but I got a little problem ...

I have some movies (Xvid avi) that is in several parts - mostly two (Cd1 and Cd2) - located in a folder by its name. Is there a way to make the plugin understand that these two files are the same movie and so it dont show up twice (with thumbnails and info and so on) in gb-pvr and to play these two files in order?

Is there any pattern to the filenames so that I could identify that is was a multi file movie?

Well, for example I got American Gangster in two parts - American.Gangster.CD1.avi and American.Gangster.CD2.avi - and get two entrys in gvpvr.

For what it is worth, I don't think I've seen an instance yet where the two parts were not labelled as "CD1" and "CD2".

Has anything ever been done with this at all? This is really a huge deal-breaker for me unfortunately.

I would also like to see this feature, but its certainly not a deal breaker for me - MovieWiz is a great program-

I like the password hidden categories, in addition i was wondering if there was any thought or interest in showing movies but to play them having to supply a different password? Like if the movie is rated R - i dont mind that my niece can see the movie in the list, but i dont want her to be able to play it- i was thinking the same password box would pop up just to play certain movies?

thanks for the great work

I have had a few requests for this feature, but have not figured out an easy way to implement with the current db structure. All I can say is maybe sometime in the future as I am not in a position to make any significant changes right now.

Sounds like you'd like to password protect at the movie level, rather than the category. This may be possible without too much work, I'll take a look and see what can be done. No specific target date, but you may see this in a future version.
