I have a thread started on the NMT forum http://www.networkedmediatank.com/viewtopic.php?t=6236, but I thought sub might see this quicker and be able to answer sooner if I posted here...

Is the fact that a file is an ISO signified by the .iso extension or by the zcd="2" in the href tag? If the latter, is there any way to add an option to the config to tell it to use the zcd="2" for other extensions? Please see the NMT forum link for reasoning...

Thanks!

Martin could probably change mvpmc to treat .mpg files as .iso. Its sounds like a bit of a dumb idea on HPs part though - You'd be better off harassing HP to correct it rather than trying to get every other bit of software you use to change the way they work.

To quote myself from the NMT forum

Quote:I could change the mvpmcx2 client software in minutes to mount mpeg's instead of iso files. It sounds like the HP software is crap if they are offering such ridiculous work arounds.

I agree. I didn't say it wasn't crap, I just imagine it's going to be tough to get HP to change anything so shortly after the release.

I'm certain it's on their plan. They've stated that MKVs are as well, so I'm sure they're aware of it. I'll prod them, though.

Sorry, Martin, I thought this would be more of sub's issue than yours. I didn't want to confuse things by posting to both forums (although the community here is better...)

And... It really wouldn't be that big of a deal if Microsoft were to allow links on Windows Home Server shares...

I'm sure getting them to change that won't happen.
