Would it be possible to run gbpvr on streamers (PCH, etc.) via HTTP? I use Swisscenter that is HTTP/PHP driven and it runs fast/flawless on my PCH. It doesn't have the recording feature which is huge for me.

Just to update this thread.

Thanks to Martin's help, I have been able to set up GBPVR to run with the SwissCenter interface on the PCH. This was very important to me because a) I really wanted to have PVR functions on the server available on the PCH and b) I have 3 ShowCenters which really need SwissCenter.

Thus, I really needed to have GBPVR and SwissCenter cooperate for this project to work and we have been more successful than I would have hoped. I can launch GBPVR from SwissCenter and exiting GBPVR returns me to SwissCenter main menu.

The only minor flaw is that exiting GBPVR requires pushing the power button on the remote to exit which isn't big on the WAF. It would be nice if there were an exit button on the menu that could then be renamed "SwissCenter" for my purposes.

In any case, I love GBPVR and I love SwissCenter, and now I can have them both....

I have mentioned to sub that it would be nice to have the Exit on the MVP and PCH extenders actually exit. Right now it is a bit risky leaving to the mvpmc or PCH menu since it is hard to synchronize things when a close protocol means to crash.

Swiss Centre does offer some things that GB-PVR doesn't and if you are a PCH owner it might be worth a look. It does show how one method of overlaying images over audio that does work in hdmi that I was hoping a plugin developer might want to see.
