Hi

I think I've installed everything correctly and everything seems to happen as it should but at the end of the channel search I'm left with zero channels.
I'm running GB-PVR v1.2.13 on Windows Vista Business 32.

Any help much appreciated Smile

Not an expert on the plugin but looking this line in the log file might point to a/v firewall getting in the way?

Also, might be worth reading through this thread, someone may have had the same problem.

I have DVBTR as an exception in the (Windows) firewall, should there be anything else?

I went through that thread before I posted but apart from using the latest stable version I didn't glean anything that I thought was relevant.

Thanks

My 2nd guess is that it's todo with vista and permissions. May have to wait for help from bgowland.

They've recently changed some of the Service Information (SI) being broadcast on DVB-T. It started on the 1st July and they're gradually rolling it out in different areas. There's a bug in the current versions of the plugin which means it can't pick up the channels as a result of this.

Sorry - I've been meaning to post a fix for this for the past couple of weeks but work has been pretty hectic. I'll upload a new version tonight when I get home.

Cheers,
Brian

do i need to upgrade in preparation for a change in my area, or will the previous version keep working if it's already got the channels scanned in?

The change in SI only affects the channel scan process so you won't notice any difference when they change your area. The new version is needed only when installing the plugin from scratch.

berniesfb & JEF - great glad the fix has worked for you.

Cheers,
Brian
