Stuttering every 5 secs while playing netflix

I had the same problem and found that if I disabled screen saver in GBPVR it solved my problem. Might be worth a try.

Sounds like the WMP control used by netflix is over the top of the screen saver in the background. Whurlston, there are APIs on the PluginHelper to disable and reenable the screen saver.

The activeX control does disable the screensaver whenever playback is started. It enables it back whenever the playback is paused or stopped. I'll double check to make sure that it gets disabled when playback is resumed as well but I'm pretty sure it does.

a couple versions back, whenever I stopped a netflix show, it would go to screensaver.
I have since disabled the gbpvr screensaver.

I've done some testing and found that the screensaver is indeed activating. I'll have a fix in a few days.
