I think it would be great if recurring recordings could be sorted in the order of the last recording. That way shows that may be in off season would end at the bottom of the list.

I think they are currently display in priority order, so if there is a clash those higher in the list will get recorded and those below left to fail.

Different folk have different needs - I think I once suggested that alphabetical order would make it easier to find things for example and got the above explanation, which makes sense (especially when you can move items up and down to prioritise them).

that and mobile phone style first letter select i think would be a good idea - ie press 5 for items starting with J.

It was originally in alphabetical order. These days its listed in priority order, and the user can press FF/RW to adjust the priority of the recordings.

It would be nice if you could hit the mode key to change the sort criteria.

Also a way to mark a show on hold that would change the color and stop recording the program untill you unhold it.

I seem to be having a problem changing the priority of my reoccurring programs. Currently, there are 18 programs in there. I can move the first five (positions 1 - 5) around amongst themselves without any problems. If I try to move any of the top five to the sixth position, they automatically get shoved all the way to the bottom of the list. If I move position six up or down, that works only in the top 6 positions (it will not go to position 7). Hitting FF or RW below position 6 does nothing except move the current highlighter position up or down. The priorities of these programs stay the same. Anyone else having this problem?

This is something i've been wishing for as long as i can remember!

I have a ton of re-occuring recordings and organising them is a royal PITA without the ability to sort them alphabeticaly.

I'm still hoping it'll be possible one day....Wink

I think you can sort with the web admin tool. I think I used this to do some re-organising of recurring shows.

Oh man! How long have I been using GBPVR and never new that!
Definitely beats deleting and readding recurring shows!
