I am building a new system, with all new hardware excluding the tuners. The old box has 1.0.16 on XP and the new one will have 1.2.13 on Vista. What do I need to copy from the old system to save all of my recorded material and scheduled recordings?

Also, is there now a way to remove "exit" from the main screen in the newer version? I know the one I have does not have this feature unless I use the older .exe file. My kids and wife sometimes click on exit and having the option to remove this would be quite handy.

Just transfer recording-dump.xml to the new computer & import it through the config plugin tab, your scheduled recording may have to have their pre & post padding reset though. (it may also pay to do an export on the old machine first to make sure the file is up to date)

Not currently, but I do intend to add this functionality back in at some stage.

I am also building a new system retaining the tuners. I tried the export /import on my "test" box ( that has a different tuner card in it) and although I can import the existing recorded programs (after editing the dump to reflect their new location), my pending recordings don't show. All the "recurring lines are there, but the dates and times are mostly corrupt. The export from the existing system has lots of the start & finish times looking like:
<startTime>0001-01-01 00:00:00</startTime>
<endTime>0001-01-01 00:00:00</endTime>

Any clues ?

Think I might have sorted it. It came right after "reloading" the EPG from with the recording source setup of config
