WTV File Format

Anyone heard about this new format and the TV pack? Any applicability to GBPVR?

You should be able to play .wtv files in GB-PVR if you have the appropriate directshow filters installed, but you will need to add "wtv" to the list of extensions in the <VideoLibraryExtensions> setting config.xml.

I've been testing Vista MC and the new TV pack and playing the file is one thing but editing and converting it is another. So far, I've had no luck with working with them. It's basically just another container holding an mpeg file AFAIK. Still not completely sure why this was done.
