searchwiz freeze when searching for today...

Hi!

i am unable to recreate this difficulty using the guide only.

a season recording on tuner 1 stays as scheduled,

adding a show on tuner 2 adds and removes as requested with no prompts about tuner one in use.

Using searchwiz's schedule displays the tuner error as noted above.

Still cannot reproduce the scheduling problem using the tvguide only...

any ideas?

can the problem be with my wintv500 card?

Not sure, but I suspect a bug in SearchWiz. I'm just suprised this has not come up in the past. I've been pretty busy with work this weekend, so have not had time to look into too closely...

Could you please recreate the problem, then zip and post your logs. I think there is enough logging that I should be able to see what is happening.

here you go

this is what happened

I had "morning news" tuner one season recording
I loaded searchwiz and selected the hour and only shows that I knew are on tuner 2.

1st pick worked fine... so cancelled it insearchwiz

tried another and it worked fine
so now I have both tuners scheduled so I clicked on a 3rd movie guide for tuner2 and get prompted to cancel news

I say yes and try to schedule a couple shows and still get prompted to cancel morning news....

morning news is gone from the pending list and appears to be in recurring list

the only recording that made it is "breaking away" and that should have been the prompted show to cancel.
