* Fixed a bug in the archive utility that caused it to rename comskip log files when archiving files

* Fixed a bug that could cause GB-PVR to crash when converting DVDs to MPEG format.

* Rewrote the display DVD by Genre code to load the file list in a background thread. This will prevent timeout on the MVP display in the case where you have a very large number of DVDs.

* Panel now will optionally display current music track

* Panel now cycles between messages at a configurable rate (default every 30 seconds) if there are multiple messages of the same priority

Is it possible for your to implement disabling in config for archive.utility and dvd.info so it can not excute this files and use it as a regular video plugin, it seems for me anyway that when it uses these i run into problems...

I'm not sure I understand. The archive utility is always disabled in the sense that it is now a seperate utility that is run form the postepgupdate.bat file. The DVDinfo utility is also speerate. The things thatare requesed tosay is it does need one of your video directories to be your "archive" directory. That is where it stores information about archived shows. If you don;t want to use this feature, create a junk directory (i.e., and emptry directory with nothin in it) and specify it to be your archive directory. You can then specify the video directories you want to use as video directories in the list. I'd be curious to know what problem you are having. All the archive DB is used for is to store program information retrieved from the GBPVR database so that it is not lost when files are moved. Also, whenever a new subdirectory is created off of the archive directory the plug-in tries to fetch a folder image for the subdirectory automatically from TVTOME or IMDB.

Likewise, the only thing special about DVD directories are that when new MPG files ae created in these directories the plug-in automatically tries to fetch a description, genre informaiton, and poster image for the DVD by looking on Amazon and IMDB. The information is also stored inthe archive DB. The plug-in also uses the first DVD directory as the root for DVD2MPEG conversions. If you want to treat your converted MPEG files as regular video files, simply specifiy them as videos rather than dvds. The plug-in doesn't do any special background or automatic processing for files found in video directories. Again, I'd be interested to know more specifically what the nature of your problem is. Are you connected to an always on, broadband Internet conneciton? If not the background fetches could be slowing things down.
