I finally fixed my no video play back problem. I also had the same problem. I fixed the problem by doing a fresh windows install and installing only arcsoft and power dvd 8 decoders. I use power dvd as the h.264 decoder. Playback of timeshifted TV only seems to workproperly in VMR9 Custom. You may not need to reinstall Windows. I just had so many CODECS and filters on my computer I could not get the setup I am using now to work without the reinstall. I have been trying to fix this for two weeks, finally works.
