To bring back an old thread I purchased this remote and found out gbpvr gives you most keys ( good job sub is a genius) but I wanted to use the info/epg button and spent a night searching the net for a free solution. When I placed an order someone on the play.com said Intelliremote works and it's free, well only one statement is true; that intelliremote works brillantly but I would not pay $24 to get it work like a mce remote that costs £15. So after some searching you can do it free with a program called autohotkey and modify a script posted there.
I hope this is fine to post to another forum ( I know Sub is an easy going chap ) here follow the instructions and test it works as expected. Then stop the script and modify the MS_RemoteButtons.ahk and Multiscript.ahk files. I have uploaded mine but I can say I have had 30 minutes of using autohotkey so I sure I could be done a lot better like only working when gbpvr is loaded, infact there are a few examples on the autohotkey forum.
In my example the Info/EPG button is mapped to F1 and I use the SAP button to load up gbpvr. You can delete a few of the ahk files in the folder if you want like MS_SwitchSoundcard.ahk, MS_TextOSD.ahk, MS_VolumeBar.ahk, MS_VolumeOSDforVista.ahk if this works for you.
You can remap more keys if you want it is fairly easy to figure out, and if there is no code for the key you want to use read this thread.
I have only tested this on windows xp with sp3, that will teach me not to do more through reading, mind you the remote and recieve was dirt cheap and worked out of the box on windows mediacenter 7. I hope this saves someone wasting a night looking for a solution.
