I had to move all my recordings to a different drive. To make a long story short, my list of recordings is missing recordings. So I found vidImport on the Wiki, but I save all my recordings to the root of a drive. When vidImport runs, it fails when it gets to the System Volume Information folder. Is there anyway to make it skip that folder? Thanks in advance!

Try this version it skips hidden system folders.

Its not a prime time release since I am mucking with IMDB lookups but it should do what you need.

That did the job but the videos have no tag info. That's OK though. Thank you.

You might try the new one on the wiki - I think I fixed that issue. You;ll have to re-empty the guide/

Actually I lucked in. I had a slightly older copy of gbpvr.db3 so everything is back to normal now.

I will backup config.xml, gbpvr.db3, and recording-dump.xml on a daily basis from now on.

Here is a batch file that will do just that for me. I have GBPVR installed to C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR and my drive to record shows to is E:\ so those may need to be changed for someone else wanting to use this (batch file attached)...

Code:
XCOPY C:\Progra~1\Devnz\GBPVR\config.xml E:\ /Y
XCOPY C:\Progra~1\Devnz\GBPVR\gbpvr.db3 E:\ /Y
XCOPY C:\Progra~1\Devnz\GBPVR\recording-dump.xml E:\ /Y
