This is a great product and my compliments to Sub and the plug-in authors for all the great stuff.

1)  Current Status of Recordings I'm not sure if this is a skin thing or whether it is suppported already, but it would be nice to see on the main screen whether GBPVR is recording something at that time or not.  Currently, I have to go to Recordings, Pending to see if my show is recording at that time.

and

2)  Update EPG manually  My EPG auto update doesn't work on schedule all the time (must be a problem of waking up from Hibernate to update the EPG) or some other user error.  The only way I know of GBPVR manually updating the EPG is via the Config program.  I'd like to kick off an EPG update from the main menu if possible.

1) you can sort of already do this by editing C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\main menu\skin.xml and enabling the "NextRecording" panel which is currently commented out.

2) You can manually update the epg from the config app. I dont want a button which updates the epg in the application itself.

Can you not just add a "custom task" in config - plugins to add a menu item to run the batch file?

By batch file, I assume you mean one the user would create containing the 'GBPVR.exe -OnlyUpdateEPG' command? Yes, you can do this - but GB-PVR wont realise the guide has been updated and wont reload the tv listing on the tv guide screen (which is why I didnt mention it). Other than this, yes this would work fine.

Just wanted to thank you Sub for the reply. The update EPG request will be solved when the scheduling bug for EPG is in.

The NextRecordings panel does what I want to let me know what is recording now.

Thanks again!
