my thoughts exactly. I'm actually so intrigued with the idea I'm creating a little test folder now...

itunes won't monitor multiple folder like WMP. I can manually add a network folder, and it copies it to the local itunes folder - but you'd have to do this every time you added music to your master folder. It would be just as easy to copy the files between the PCs manually every time.
