embedded metadata stream on recordings made by GB-PVR?

what format is the "embedded metadata stream on recordings made by GB-PVR" suppose to be, is it the xml format like

Its stored as a alternate data stream called metadata.xml

oic, what would happen if the "<startTime><endTime><channel>" were missing/empty? anything break that expects those values?

It'd probably be ok without it. Its not something I've ever tested though. GB-PVR has pretty much forever created this alternate data stream in that format, so the expectation was that these fields would be present.

Can we edit the recordings-dump.xml file? I want to move some recordings to another location on a different drive, and I was thinking I could just change the path in the recordings-dump.xml file.

Would that work?

You would need to reimport the recordings-dump.xml after changing the location. You can import in Config (plugins tab I think).

I do that all the time.

You could also move them and drag and drop the directory onto the vidImport utility.
