Just put a brand new HVR-1600 into my byopvr system. I've been running GB-PVR for some time now as a home theater to stream movies to various parts of the house.
Here's the thing, I am trying to configure it to run from a Rogers Cable signal.
On Schedules Direct there are 2 options for Rogers Cable for my local area, Analog and Digital Cable. There seems to be a number of QAM channels on the cable as well when I play around.
I've been playing with options (cable hook ups etc) and various EDP options.
Sometimes I get a lot of channels, some options give me completely different channels. The regular cable on Schedules Direct tells me there are 70 channels, but when I load it into GBPVR it leaves out some channels.
I cant seem to get my normal channel list to come up on the system. Is there anyone else playing with this type of set up?
Should I have a cable splitter going and run a signal into both tuners?
Any advice?
