Just as an FYI... If that case takes a standard PC power supply, I just picked up a used 500 watt version of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis...rm&x=0&y=0 for my sons PC before a video card upgrade. With that 120MM fan and an internal fan speed control, it's the quietest power supply that I've ever (not) heard. Wink Most of the time its spinning very slowly and only kicks up the speed when the system starts to get hot, mostly when the HD4850 video card is used for a long time in 3D mode.

I also poked around some of the online review sites and found excellent reviews on the Blue Storm II supplies. The power rating may be over the top for an HTPC, but this one is amazingly quiet.

thanks for the input, but alas no - it's a small case and it takes an FTX12V sized power supply, which is very small.

i bought a truly silent ps[fanless] by those guys [FSP] for only $35! 350 watt...80Plus certified..
tho i doubt anybody will have a deal like that anymore..lol
i also have one from them that has fan speed knob on back..Smile but temp controlled is best..

power supplies are a dime a dozen these days..easy to get quiet ones...it's usually the video/hdd i'm tryin to cool/keep quiet....cpus almost don't need any cooling anymore..lol

I must say I dont see the point of having a touch screen on a HTPC case. Sure it looks fancy but completely useless tbh, why have a tiny screen when you have a full TV screen to look at? And as for starting applications I rather use a remote or wireless mouse than walk over to the case just to click play...
