GB-PVR is a very nice application but for me, but mapping DVB-S based channels is very troublesome.
The main reason, is because in the channelscan result screen I only see the channel name and with channels consisting of (almost) the same name mistakes are easy to make. Based upon channel-order I'm able to guess which channel is linked to my subscription card.
However, I do make mistakes (human and stuff
) and I frequently select the wrong channel and I use the config tool to select the right one. But with 4 sats it's kinda troublesome and time consuming.
To make my (and perhaps other DVB-S users) live easier, it would be great if we can have the Providername, Transponder and perhaps FTA status in the channelscan result screen. This will allow us to make proper and faster selections and as a result, a better configured channel-list.
