iTunes Folder Monitoring

I recently purchased an ipod touch. GBPVR is configured to transcode all recordings to an ipod format. My problem is that itunes does not monitor folders for new files that are created. I have to manually add them to iTunes. I have seen various 3rd part applications for monitoring music folders and updating the itunes database, but I am looking for one that handles videos as well. Is anyone using an app to handle this or is there a way to get itunes to monitor folders for new files (even Microsoft does that)?

There is no way to get iTunes to nativley monitor folders, so you're in the hands of 3rd party s/w or plugins. Beyond that I haven't really looked into any of them, but I'm sure someone will be along with a suggestion.

You want to try iPodifier. It will monitor folders and update iTunes. Can also setup pod casts if you want.
